You make smart medical technology possible
Within our R&D department, you’ll work alongside 14 enthusiastic colleagues. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll contribute to the development of medical devices, ranging from wearables and surgical tools to drug-device combinations, dosing systems, and heating systems.
You’ll translate functional requirements and system architectures into reliable, safe, and maintainable embedded software.
Duties and responsibilities
We are a Contract Development & Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) specializing in the development and manufacture of medical devices for national and international clients. We are ISO 13485 and Ordinance 169 certified.
Unitron works closely with clients on a wide range of products, from concept to certified medical device. Our culture? Dynamic, innovative, and built on collaboration. Here, we combine pragmatic solutions with high-tech expertise to push boundaries together.
Apply now and become part of our R&D team. We’ll contact you within three business days to get to know you and hear about your ambitions.

The role is highly technical. You’ll work with C and, at times, Python and embedded systems (including STM32 platforms). You’ll also be involved in hardware integration, unit testing, and static code analysis. CI/CD and GitLab are the tools you’ll use for these tasks.
This isn’t a strict requirement, but it is a strong plus. Experience with ISO 13485, IEC 62304, and working in a regulated environment will help you settle into your role more quickly.
A typical day involves developing and testing embedded software. You’ll conduct code reviews and architecture discussions, collaborate with hardware and test teams, and engage in debugging and on-chip testing. You’ll also contribute to validation and release processes.
This is a mid-level to senior role. At a minimum, you’re expected to have a bachelor’s or master’s degree, along with approximately 3 years of experience in embedded software development, C, and embedded systems. There’s room for growth within the team.
You’ll work with C/Python, STM32 embedded platforms, GitLab (CI/CD), communication protocols (I²C, UART, USB, BLE), and debugging tools and static analysis, among other things.
Your software is used in actual medical devices, has a direct impact on patient care, and must comply with strict regulations and quality standards. That makes the work both substantively and socially relevant.
