You will guide Unitron smoothly through a project

You are a key player within our organization. You contribute to the success of projects by providing support for various project management tasks. In this role, you will work closely with the Sales department, providing technical information to help prepare quotes. You will manage cross-departmental and internal projects and be responsible for coordinating staff, including those outside your own R&D department. This role offers you ample opportunity to utilize your organizational skills and leadership qualities.

You will build a valuable network and identify commercial opportunities in the market. In doing so, you will help optimize processes.

Duties and responsibilities

• Monitoring progress, timelines, budgets, and quality requirements during a project
• Coordinating communication between internal and external stakeholders
• Developing and implementing project plans in accordance with the processes defined in the quality system
• Documenting and reporting on project status, deviations, and areas for improvement
• Monitoring product pricing and production methods in coordination with the Sales and Design Transfer/Manufacturing Engineering departments
• Ensuring compliance with quality and safety requirements within projects
• Identifying and managing risks, with timely escalation where necessary
• Complete, accurate, and timely reporting to the R&D Manager

• Unitron Group has offices in various locations, including IJzendijke, Rotterdam, Hengelo, Ghent (BE) and Cary (US). For this position, it is important that you are willing to travel to customer sites, suppliers or other offices when necessary.

Your team

As a project manager, you will be part of multidisciplinary teams. You will meet daily with your R&D Manager to discuss project progress and any issues that arise. Together with your immediate colleagues, you will work on achieving project goals, providing supervision, finding technical solutions, and addressing advisory questions.

In addition, you will serve as a trusted point of contact for colleagues in departments such as production, sales, planning, and purchasing. You will also act as the primary contact for clients and external project partners regarding project-related inquiries. Your interpersonal and communication skills will ensure smooth collaboration and successful projects.
